Good is mediocre service is extremely slow and on top of them the scam you at the payment terminal, by adding 15% on top.

I booked a table for our last night meal in and around Belgium. We sat at the table and ordered our drinks. We ordered a bottle of still water for the table as my wife has to take medication so she can eat. The waiter poured us two glasses. My wife had wine, I was choosing a whiskey. Every option on the drinks menu that I wanted they didn't have. So I went with their recommendation. I always have a mixer to go with it as I like to dilute it to a strength that is comfortable for me. So the waiter brought the wine, the whiskey and the mixer. Then put everything on the table and a glass with just ice and a lemon slice. He then started pouring the mixer in the empty glass, so I stopped him and told him what I normally do, which is to pour from the bottle. The whiskey glass was half full, european measurements which im not complaining about. So to mix what I wanted I needed a tall glass. I explained this to the waiter and he delivered a tall shot glass. I accept there is a misunderstanding through the languages. Obviously I wasn't able to make him understand. So there we are, 2 water glasses, wine glass, whiskey glass, shot glass and another glass with mixer and bottle of water on a table that is getting smaller by the minute. Our food order was taken and some bread rolls arrived in a bucket. Very nice I said to my wife. Our mains arrived as we hadn't ordered a starter, my wife's steak cooked medium, mine was meant to be medium/well done. The fries came separately in a small bucket and the sauces in a copper pot with a handle. This made the table even smaller and we were struggling for space. I thought someone would have seen the issues and helped clear what wasnt needed but this didn't happen.I cut into my steak and it was very bloody. I called the waiter over and he called the manager, I explained that my steak was too rare, he understood and took my plate. A new plate of food came with the sauce and I was expecting the fries to come very soon after. This didn't happen, so I called the waiter over asking for the bucket of fries, I assumed he would deal with my request and the fries would show up. I'm sad to say they never did show. At this time I said to my wife let's finish this course, pay the bill and leave. I have to stress the food was delicious, I couldn't fault it when it was cooked right. The service however was a different story. There were too many waiters dealing with our table which probably meant a lot of confusion and frustration for both the customer and staff. I hope this feedback helps create a better service. We will be returning at some point and hope our experience next time will be faultless.

Tout est parfait.... Personnels compétents, sympathiques, professionnels.. La nouriture est excellente et le Patron vous offre toujours le pousse café pour terminer une belle soirée. Ambiance survoltée et beaucoup d'énergie positive.

Chaotic place, you arrive, say your name for the reservation but personnel does not pay attention, they put you at the wrong table (twice!) and you miss your party as a result, and then the food was really nothing special (dish was already basically cold when it arrived, but we had given up on reclaiming by that time, it had taken one full hour after our arrival before we could finally order); will not go there again, there are plenty of well run places in Brussels with much better food.
