Les deux palais en quelques mots...

 
 Au cœur du Paris historique, dans l’île de la Cité, entre Notre-Dame, la Sainte-Chapelle et la Conciergerie, et face au Palais de Justice, la brasserie Les Deux Palais est un endroit particulier qui invite à un voyage historique, culturel et culinaire.
 
A la fin du second empire, en 1870, à l’insalubrité du Vieux Paris a succédé les grandes artères voulues par Napoléon III. La nouvelle architecture offrait également de grands espaces qui accueillent désormais les étals des marchands dont le célèbre Marché aux Fleurs
qui jouxte la brasserie.
 
Le voyage commence par l’atmosphère d’un lieu au décor soigné et signé du 19ème siècle, dans un style Belle Epoque avec ses colonnes qui maintiennent un plafond haut pour faire entrer la lumière. Miroirs et rampes en laiton offrent l’éclat discret d’une brillance sans ostentation.
 
C’est dans ce somptueux décor que nos serveurs vous accueillent avec l’hospitalité due aux hôtes qui nous honorent de leur visite.
 
Puis le voyage continue dans l’assiette où nous vous proposons des plats dans la pure tradition culinaire française. Aventurez-vous enfin dans les meilleurs terroirs de France en explorant une carte des vins soigneusement sélectionnés.

In the heart of historic Paris, on the Ile de la Cité, between Notre-Dame, the Sainte-Chapelle and the Conciergerie, and facing the Court House,the brasserie Les Deux Palais is a special place that invites you on a historical, cultural and culinary journey.
 
At the end of the Second Empire, in 1870, the insalubrity of the Old Paris gave way
to the greatarteries wanted by Napoleon III. The new architecture also offered large spaces that now accommodate the stalls of merchants including the famous Flower Market which adjoins the brewery.
 
The journey begins with the atmosphere of a place with a neat and signed decoration of the 19th century, in a Belle Epoque style with its columns holding a high ceiling to let in the light. Mirrors and brass railings offer the discreet luster of an unostentatious shine.
 
It is in this sumptuous decor that our waiters welcome you with the hospitality due to the guests who honour us with their visit.
 
Then the journey continues in the plate where we offer you dishes in the pure French culinary tradition. Finally, adventure into the best terroirs of France by exploring a carefully selected wine list.

Die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und entspannt, das Ambiente ausgesprochen stilvoll. Der Service war freundlich, aufmerksam und makellos. Da es regnete, kamen wir etwa 40 Minuten vor unserer reservierten Zeit an. Obwohl wir bereit gewesen wären zu warten, fragten wir vorsichtig nach, ob vielleicht bereits ein Tisch frei sei. Zu unserer Freude wurden wir sofort eingelassen. Die Verständigung erfolgte mithilfe einer Übersetzungs-App, dennoch wurde uns jederzeit das Gefühl vermittelt, herzlich willkommen zu sein. Die Speisekarte ist vielfältig und bietet zahlreiche einheimische sowie authentische Gerichte. Die Portionen sind großzügig bemessen. Besonders die berühmte französische Zwiebelsuppe hat uns hervorragend geschmeckt. Mein Freund bestellte ein ausgezeichnetes Rindersteak mit Kartoffeln und einer feinen weißen Pfeffersoße. Darüber hinaus gab es moderne vegetarische und vegane Optionen, beispielsweise Aubergine auf einem Rucolabett mit Burrata und Melone. Für ein zweigängiges Mittagessen inklusive hervorragendem Wein haben wir zu zweit etwa 110 € bezahlt. Diesen Preis empfanden wir angesichts der Qualität und des gesamten Erlebnisses als absolut angemessen. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die gelungene Mischung aus Würde, Eleganz und gleichzeitig angenehmer Ungezwungenheit. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Très joli cadre. Serveurs courtois et efficaces. Très bon repas. Avons passé un excellent moment à la Brasserie des 2 Palais.

Plat du jour cher (27 ou 28 euros) mais très beau cadre historique, personnel prévenant, service efficace et tout était bon ! Merci !
